If you have a 1GB Gmail account you can use this application to have extra space in your hard drive and use it to store things very easily.

Gmail Drive converts your Gmail account into a virtual disc drive, to which you can drag files from your explorer as if it were any other part of your hard drive, and also take them from your account to your PC just with your mouse. The files are stored in your mail with the subject GMAILFS.

The Gmail Drive program still has some limitations, like the fact that the filename can't be longer than 65 characters. However, it is still an application worth considering for all Gmail users.
